Head-on collision in Port Orchard injures 5, including three children 6 years old and younger

A head-on collision on State Route 160 (SR 160) sent five people to the hospital with injuries, including three children under the age of six late Wednesday night.
A black Cadillac Escalade was driving eastbound on SR 160 at Aiken Road SE in Port Orchard when it crossed over the center lane and hit an oncoming SUV head-on, the Washington State Patrol (WSP) reported.

The Cadillac had three children inside– one 6-year-old boy and two 3-year-old boys. All three children were taken to Mary Bridge Children鈥檚 Hospital, while the driver of the Cadillac was taken to Tacoma General. The other driver in the crash, a 74-year-old, was taken to St. Anthony鈥檚 Hospital. The status of everyone’s injuries is currently unknown, as of this reporting.
The driver who caused the collision was arrested as WSP continues to investigate whether this was a possible DUI crash.
