The Washington State Patrol reported a motorcyclist died in a crash on State Route 7 (SR 7) south, just north of State Route 507 (SR 507), in Spanaway on Thursday.
SR 7 south was closed for hours, as reported by the Washington State Department of Transportation. However, all lanes are now back open.
Troopers and are on scene with a single motorcycle crash on SB SR 7 north of SR 507. I’m saddened to announce that the motorcyclist did not survive the collision.
Please be patient with the closure as we investigate, and expect heavy traffic in the area.
