August 2016 Charity of the Month: Permission To Start Dreaming Foundation

The Permission To Start Dreaming Foundation has been named Bonneville Seattle鈥檚 Charity of the Month for August. They provide access to solutions for soldiers and their families who are affected by Post Traumatic Stress and Traumatic Brain Injury.
Since 2011, when the foundation started, they have given more than $145,000 to alternative therapy programs helping soldiers. Some of the programs they have funded are; Veterans Expeditions, Heartbeat Serving Wounded Warriors, All American Assistance Dogs, Operation Ward 57, Growing Veterans, Spikes K9 Fund, Crista Camps, and USO Northwest.
Support for the Permission to Start Dreaming Foundation comes from donations and raising money and awareness through events like the Prayer Breakfast, Swing for a Soldier and Race for a Soldier. For more information about the Permission to Start Dreaming Foundation and how you can help, visit
