Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) has been named Bonneville Seattle鈥檚 Charity of the Month for December for aiding the victims of individuals driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and increasing public awareness of the problem of drinking and drugged driving.
Founded by a mother whose daughter was killed by a drunk driver, MADD is the nation鈥檚 largest nonprofit working to protect families from drunk driving, drugged driving and underage drinking. From its humble beginnings in 1980, Mothers Against Drunk Driving has evolved into one of the most influential and widely supported non-profit organizations in America.
MADD also supports drunk and drugged driving victims and survivors at no charge through local MADD victim advocates and our 24-Hour Victim Helpline. For more information about Mothers Against Drunk Driving and how you can help, visit .
