Families for Effective Autism Treatment

Nov 1, 2010, 9:26 AM | Updated: Apr 7, 2011, 12:40 pm

Autism affects more than one percent of children in Washington State. Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT) is here to help the families of those affected.

FEAT’s mission is to help children with autism reach their full potential, and they have spent 14 years developing, creating and inspiring programs for autistic children. FEAT also provides support, guidance and resources for families and professionals working with autistic children and has worked to develop partnerships with Diagnostic Clinics and Centers so as to better reach families. Personal mentoring, behavioral interventions and an advocacy group for better access to evidenced based treatments and research based education are all part of FEAT’s efforts to develop, pilot and implement programs to help autistic children.
