Food Lifeline

Dec 23, 2009, 2:48 PM | Updated: Apr 4, 2011, 11:21 am

Bonneville Seattle and the Seattle Seahawks are proud to announce as January’s Charity of the Month!

Food Lifeline is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending hunger in Western Washington. Our mission is to end hunger in Western Washington by engaging communities and mobilizing resources.

Food Lifeline is a local hunger relief organization, efficiently serving the Western Washington area by using 95% of revenue to directly feed hungry people. Last year the organization delivered more than 19 million meals to hungry people through its network of nearly 300 neighborhood food banks, hot meal programs and shelters.

In 2009, Food Lifeline helped feed more than 675,000 hungry people in local Western Washington communities. Food Lifeline is also the local member of the nation’s largest hunger relief organization, Feeding America.

As a supporter of Food Lifeline’s mission to end hunger, you are a part of the network that is working together to create change to ensure that hungry families do not have to go without a meal, and hungry children get the proper nutrition to meet the challenges of learning in school.
