January 2019 Charity of the Month: American Parkinson Disease Association

The American Parkinson Disease Association’s Northwest chapter has been named Bonneville Seattle’s charity of the month for January. By providing resources in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington, APDA Northwest promotes hope and optimism through innovative services and programs for those in our community challenged with Parkinson’s. Through their funding of important local and national research they hope to help people live better lives today while looking toward a better future.
From support groups in each state to health and wellness programs and opportunities for caregivers, APDA Northwest is impacting the community in many ways. APDA Northwest is the primary funding source for the Washington State Parkinson’s Disease registry, which connects people with Parkinson’s to the research community.
