Melodic Caring Project has been named Bonneville Seattle’s Charity of the Month for January, for bridging the gap between music and patients battling serious illness by streaming live, personalized concerts to kids and teens in the hospital.
Melodic Caring Project is unlike any other program because it offers ease, accessibility and comfort to those suffering from serious illness or injury. Not only are concerts streamed to hospitalized children, lovingly called rockSTARS, but they coordinate with the artist on stage to personally recognize the patients to offer love, support and encouragement.
The Melodic Caring Project is proudly partnered with organizations like Swedish Medical Center, Gibson USA, Seattle Theatre Group, UStream, and many more. Thanks to these partners, recent concerts have included Jason Mraz, Switchfoot, Brandi Carlile, and Black Eyed Peas.
The primary funding for the Melodic Caring Project comes from their annual gala fundraiser and dinner. For tickets to the gala, to donate and for more information about the Melodic Caring Project, visit their website at .
