Hope for Heroes Horsemanship Center has been named Bonneville Seattle’s Charity of the Month for June for their contributions to active duty service members, veterans and their families. They provide equine assisted therapy to facilitate physical and emotional healing. As a member of PATH International Equine Services to Heroes Committee, Hope for Heroes Horsemanship Center’s leadership helped create and present the first online instructor training program to聽 PATH instructors that focused on veteran riders. This unique equine therapy format uses the horse’s natural ability to to detect anxiety and mirror it back to their rider, all while helping a veteran learn to self-manage their anxiety.
