June 2020 Charity of the Month: Medic One Foundation

Bonneville Seattle has named Medic One Foundation as the charity of the month for June 2020. Their mission is to save lives by improving pre-hospital emergency care.
They support critical programs and initiatives that have a significant impact on the number of lives saved by our region’s Medic On emergency medical system. Medic One requires additional training beyond industry standards, and this helps the team increase an individual’s odds at survival compared to the rest of the country.
Medic One Foundation supports and funds training, medical education, research and development of new ideas to improve patient outcomes and the purchase of medical equipment for firefighters and paramedics.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the foundation has also provided additional support materials and gratitude meals for first responders.
