The Lupus Foundation of America – Pacific Northwest Chapter (LFA, PNW) has been named Bonneville Seattle’s Charity of the Month for May, for their efforts to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus.
The LFA, PNW is devoted to solving the mystery of lupus, one of the world’s cruelest, most unpredictable, and devastating diseases, while caring support to those who suffer from its brutal impact.
Lupus is a complex disease that requires a comprehensive strategy. The LFA, PNW envisions a world without lupus by advancing the science and medicine of the disease to cure and improve the quality of life for those affected by it. LFA, PNW is a 501 (3)c non-profit and serves the states of Washington and Oregon.
The primary goal of LFA, PNW is to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus and their loved ones, through these four primary functions: Research, Education & Support Services, Awareness Efforts and Advocacy Efforts.
