May 2017 Charity of the Month: Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation (CCF) Northwest Chapter has been named Bonneville Seattle’s Charity of the Month for May, for supporting the estimated 73,000 people living with IBD in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.
This non-profit, volunteer-driven organization is dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn’s Disease and ulcerative colitis and to improving the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. The CCF funds cutting-edge studies at major medical institutions, nurture investigators at the early stages of their careers, and finance underdeveloped areas of research as well as collaborates with healthcare providers to improve IBD quality of care. Their professional education workshops and programs enable medical professionals to keep pace with this rapidly growing field.
