CAYA (Central Area Youth Association) has been named Bonneville Seattle’s Charity of the Month for May, for their contributions to the development and growth of youth. Their programs focus on individual character, responsibility and group interaction for at-risk youth. Their mission is to facilitate the positive development of youth for the benefit of youth, their families, and the community by fostering and promoting the value of education, through sponsorship of academics, life skills, cultural arts and athletic programs.

CAYA has been developing the community for over 50 years, and offers a suite of programs to help develop well-rounded youth including academic tutoring, job readiness training, etiquette, arts, mentorships, leadership camps, conflict resolution, athletics, cheer and more.
