Bonneville Seattle, the Seattle Seahawks, and Les Schwab Tire Centers of Seattle are proud to announce Rebuilding Hope! Sexual Assult Center Pierce County as the January Charity of the Month!
The beginning of this agency dates back to 1972, the same year often quoted as the beginning of the 茂驴陆Sexual Assault Movement\’. A group of young women attending the Tacoma Learning Center surveyed Pierce County and found there were very few services available to help individuals who had been raped or sexually abused. Rebuilding Hope! Sexual Assault Center for Pierce County offers support toward healing through advocacy and therapy for those affected by sexual assault and abuse. Through education and collaboration茂驴陆Rebuilding Hope茂驴陆improves the community\’s response to sexual assault and abuse victims and challenges the behaviors and beliefs that promote sexual violence.
