In support of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, Bonneville Seattle and the Seattle Seahawks are proud to announce The Pink Daisy Project as October’s Charity of the Month!
The mission of the Pink Daisy Project is to help young women cope with the hardships of breast cancer treatment by providing them with care and comfort.
A younger breast cancer patient faces obstacles an older patient doesn’t. Often juggling work, her family and treatment while trying to meet financial obligations and keep her health insurance.
The Pink Daisy Project strives to make a real difference in these young women’s lives by offering services such as:
– Housecleaning
– Groceries and meals
– Assistance with prescription costs
– Other assistance as needed
