Two 15-year-olds shot, one killed, in Renton apartment complex shooting, police seeking suspects

A 15-year-old died in a shooting at an apartment complex in Renton Sunday evening. A second 15-year-old was injured in the shooting, and was taken to a local hospital.
The shooting, which took place at an apartment building near Bronson Way N.E. and Vuemont Place N.E., allegedly involved two parties in two different vehicles, according to the Renton Police Department (RPD).
Someone in the suspect vehicle opened fire and shot two 15-year-olds in another car. The vehicle with the two teens inside took off and tried to get to a nearby hospital, eventually pulling off at the Les Schwab Tire shop on Rainier Avenue S. to call for help. One of the 15-year-olds died at the Les Schwab parking lot.
The other injured 15-year-old was taken to Harborview Medical Center, and is in stable condition, as of this reporting.
RPD has yet to share any details on the suspect vehicle. Detectives are currently attempting to view any security camera footage from any neighboring business that could lead to identifying a suspect.
