Bothell HS band teacher arrested for alleged sexual misconduct with former student

The Bothell Police Department (BPD) reported Thursday that it arrested a teacher for alleged sexual misconduct with a former student.
According to BPD, , police arrested the 44-year-old man, who is a band teacher at Bothell High School, on one felony count of sexual misconduct with a minor in the first degree and one felony count of communication with a minor for immoral purposes.
The alleged crimes took place in 2015 and 2016, while the woman was a student at the school.
“She is fully cooperating with our detectives in this active investigation,” BPD wrote.
The department said at this time, there are no indications of other victims, but it remains a possibility.
“We are concerned,” wrote BPD.
