Thurston County detectives have identified a person of interest as they continue to investigate and search for a missing 82-year-old woman.
Norman’s family first reported her missing on April 4, telling authorities Marcia hasn’t been seen since April 1. Deputies with the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office searched her home, finding incomplete household chores, prompting them to believe she may have left abruptly. Both of her vehicles were in the driveway of her home, located on Military Road near the City of Tenino.
Person of interest regarding missing 82-year-old woman
Detectives believe that Marcia Norman was last seen during a dinner with family handyman Jeffrey Zizz on April 1. Zizz had gone through multiple police interviews since Marcia’s disappearance.
“He told us they had dinner together,” Mike Brooks, the Chief Deputy Assessor for Thurston County, told . “He鈥檚 not the average handyman to this family…he鈥檚 a good family friend, so it doesn鈥檛 necessarily seem like having dinner together would necessarily be uncommon.”
Zizz left town on April 6 in a friend’s car, and was later arrested in Montana on an unrelated outstanding warrant. Investigators seized the vehicle.
While the Thurston County Sheriff鈥檚 Office considers Zizz as the only person of interest in this case so far, the department stated they don’t have enough evidence to arrest him.
“We鈥檙e going to use this time to continue gathering evidence and everything else we can to either support him being a suspect or to support him not being a suspect,” Brooks told 成人X站 7.
Deputies are asking anyone who recently talked with Zizz to contact Thurston County detectives via their email at detectives@co.thurston.wa.us or by phone at (360) 786-5530.
