With everyone and their mother running for president on the democratic side to defeat President Donald Trump, how is he going to fend off so many attacks, especially from Washington governor Jay Inslee?

Senior adviser to the Trump reelection campaign Lara Trump joined the Jason Rantz Show on KTTH to discuss Inslee’s climate change plans, and how the Trump reelection campaign is looking.

“First of all, trying to eliminate all coal-related jobs–you’re going to lose right there. I’m sorry to tell you,” she said. “There are a lot of people who would disagree with that because their livelihoods depend on that across the country.”

Inslee has been surging to 0.03 percent in national polls, and hopes to get a boost from his climate change plan, which includes phasing out the coal industry within a decade, reaching 100 percent zero emissions in all new medium to small-sized vehicles, and requiring carbon-neutral power by 2030, among other measures.

“Obviously, you have to look at climate change, and you have to look at it logically. But if you really want to make a dent in what is happening with emissions across the world, you’ve got to look at places like China and India,” she said. “The United States is doing one of the better jobs of any country in the world with our emissions.”

¸é·¡³¢´¡°Õ·¡¶Ù:ÌýInslee polling behind ‘someone else’ but raises $2.25 million

Despite the low poll numbers, the Inslee campaign is boasting that its fundraising effort is outpacing other Democratic presidential hopefuls, taking in $2.25 million in its first month. He’s been busy travelling the country to spread his message the past few months, participating in a CNN town hall, and making appearances on the The Daily Show and The View.

“The facts are that unless other countries — who are just pouring these terrible emissions into our atmosphere — are willing to do something about it, we’re never going to fix the problem. They can keep trying to say that the U.S. should do more, but it’s not going to put a dent in things unless India and China get it under control a little bit.”

“It shouldn’t be incumbent upon the United States to do everything.”
