While everyone else is thinking about the football-related impacts of , ³ÉÈËXÕ¾ Newsradio’s John Curley is thinking about what will happen to Wilson’s Lake Washington home.
Ross: Hang in there, Seahawks fans
So he called up Lindsey Gudger, owner of , for some insight.
“He hasn’t called me yet to list it, so I’m waiting on that call,” Gudger said. “But I had my pricing analytics team take a look at it this afternoon. It’s nice — it’s a beautiful home, about 11,000 square feet on a lot just over an acre. As you said, purchased for $6.7 [million] back in 2016.”
If it were on the market today, Gudger bets the home would be listed between $15 to $16 million, but notes that estimate is without seeing it and any updates that have been done.
“This is the description: 6.67 acre property, includes 84 feet of waterfront, the house itself is over 10,000 square feet, and the square footage includes seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a custom kitchen, and the kitchen includes chandeliers, a walk-in pantry, among other things,” host Shari Elliker said.
“I’ve seen the pictures, … it’s spectacular,” she added. “It’s really beautiful.”
Wilson also pulled 14 permits to customize the house, which John thought could make it tougher to sell.
“That’s absolutely right,” Gudger said. “Now, hopefully it’s not blue and green throughout the new foyer and stuff like that. I would bet that with Ciara driving some of those decisions, it’s a pretty nice looking house.”
“Most people know we’re in an inventory constrained market. There’s not a lot out there that this competes with,” he added. “There’s a house just south of his that sold earlier this year for about $7 million over what I just told you, closed for about $22.5 [million], that is comparable in size — little bit nicer lot, little bit more waterfront, little bit nicer house, in my opinion.”
There are a couple other contenders on the market, Gudger said, but the location of Wilson’s house in Bellevue is “a significant difference.”
He says Bellevue is top three in the country for median home value, and number one in the state.
“It’s desirable in terms of area as well, and that’s going to appeal to a lot of people,” Gudger said.
“It’s a beautiful home,” he noted. “And I would bet that what they did to it is incredible. Looks like there’s a new waterfront tram that he put in.”
