A Tesla driver in Lynnwood was harassed and cut off by another driver on her way to a doctor鈥檚 appointment Wednesday morning.
It all started when a white SUV honked at the driver and cut her off, stopping in the middle of the road. The driver then approached her window, and verbally attacked her, telling her to sell her car, and calling it a “Nazi car.”
Leigh, who chose to drive a Tesla for environmental reasons, described the encounter as frightening and unprovoked.
鈥淣ow it feels like a huge risk; it鈥檚 scary,鈥 she told FOX 13.
Since Elon Musk became the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in the Trump administration, Tesla owners have faced attacks, vandalism and harassment. The Justice Department has started pressing charges against those responsible for damaging or destroying Tesla vehicles.
Spike calls Teslsa vandalism ‘pointless’
Spike shared his opinion during a recent episode of the Jake and Spike show, labeling the vandalism as misdirected mass hysteria.
“It’s a misdirected public mass hysteria!” he said. “If you want to be politically active and speak out, then do so. But to take on somebody who’s already made the purchase, to vandalize somebody’s property, to put somebody’s health at risk, to threaten a woman on the road, that is just insane and pointless.”
Jake agreed with Spike and聽emphasized that the suspect’s misconduct deserved a severe punishment.
“They at least need to go get this guy good talk to that’s horrible behavior,” he said. “You just don’t treat women that way. It doesn’t matter what your stupid political beliefs are.”
