A girl reported missing has been found and a suspect is in custody, according to police.

Saturday, March 29th Update: The woman accused of kidnapping a one-and-a-half year old girl – the subject of Friday’s Amber Alert – appeared before a judge for the first time Saturday.

She has not yet been charged with a crime, but appeared at a Probable Cause Hearing, after being accused of taking the toddler from a daycare in Seattle’s Rainier Beach neighborhood.

She was caught three hours later in Federal Way.

The child was not hurt.

A judge set her bail at $500,000 and ordered her to stay away from the victim’s family.

A defense attorney assigned to her case argued for a $50,000 bail amount.

Police say the 47-year-old suspect has a history of making threats toward the child’s family.

The court found probable cause for Kidnapping in the First Degree and Kidnapping in the Second Degree.

Prosecutors have until Tuesday, April 1st to make a charging decision.

Friday Evening Update: Seattle Police say the young girl has been located and the suspect is in custody.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing one-year-old girl, who was allegedly taken by someone who is known by the family.

The missing girl was taken from the MARS Early Learning Academy in Seattle at approximately 2:30 p.m. According to the Amber Alert, the suspect who took her is known by the child’s mother and has previously made violent threats toward the family.  The child was last seen wearing Mickey Mouse pajamas and white shoes. She has black hair and brown eyes.

The child was allegedly taken away in a gray 2020 Dodge Challenger with a Washington license plate that reads: BVM6985.
