9-year-old shot, injured in Renton road rage attack

Update 12:00 p.m.: The child remains at the hospital in serious condition, as of Saturday morning.
Troopers reported that the suspect has not yet been found, and are asking that anyone with information on this incident contact WSP.

A 9-year-old boy has suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound after a reported case of road rage Friday afternoon.
State troopers said the boy was in a vehicle on Northbound State Route 167 in Renton when someone in another car shot him. The suspected shooter was driving a dark blue Mustang and shot into the vehicle, striking the child once in the mouth and once in the chest.
Officers are looking for a dark blue Ford Mustang connected to this case.
There has been a shooting NB 167 near Grady Way. More details to come.

The child is currently being treated at Harborview Medical Center.
