A carjacking, a chase, and a crash ended with four arrests and four Pierce County deputies in the hospital.

All the deputies suffered minor injuries.

This all started around 10:30 Saturday morning.

A man called 911 to report a woman and three men carjacked his vehicle at gunpoint near 175th and Pacific Avenue in Spanaway.

Deputies caught up with the stolen car on northbound Pacific Avenue.

The suspects slammed into at least two other vehicles trying to get away.

Officers performed a PIT maneuver to stop the suspects.

Two tried to run, but all four were taken into custody.

In all, four sheriff’s vehicles and two private vehicles were damaged.

None of the other drivers were hurt.

The four suspects arrested are facing various felony charges.

Police say one of the suspects was carrying a pistol modified with a switch and extended magazine.

Officers shut down Pacific Avenue as they conducted the investigation.

Troopers from the Washington State Patrol assisted the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department with the investigation.
