Seattle police issue alert after 14-year-old girl goes missing

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) has issued a missing person alert for Maryam, a 14-year-old girl.
In the alert, SPD stated she was last seen on Thursday at 48th Avenue South and South Raymond Street, near the Hillman City neighborhood in Seattle.
Maryam does not speak English, only Soninke, a language primarily spoken in West Africa. She was last seen wearing all green. She’s reportedly unfamiliar with the Seattle area.
Missing Juvenile: Maryam, B/F/14. Last seen near 4800 block S Raymond Street. Attends Seattle World School, 1700 E Union Street. Unfamiliar with Seattle area, does not speak English (Soninke only),wearing all green clothing today. If seen, please call 911.

She attends the Seattle World School, located at 1700 E Union Street near Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.
