The Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation is reporting a sewage spill in Magnuson Park off the boat launch.
WARNING: A sewage spill has occurred near the Magnuson Park Boat Launch.
Stay out of the water! People and pets should avoid contact with the water at this location. Closure signs have been posted at the park (check the red dots on the map).

The Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation has posted closure signs, warning both people and pets to stay out of the water and avoid contact with it.
“People and pets should avoid contact with the water at this location,” the Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation stated.
The department is investigating what caused the spill and how much sewage was spilled into the water.
