Toronto plane crash miracle: 19 passengers discharged from hospital

Delta Airlines has confirmed that 19 passengers were discharged from the hospital after a plane flipped upside down during a landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport Tuesday.
The flight was a Delta Connection operated by Endeavor Air, which was traveling from Minneapolis. There were 80 people aboard; fortunately, all of them survived. Two people have yet to be discharged from the hospital.
A total of 21 passengers were injured and transported to the hospital, with 19 now having been released as of Tuesday morning, according to Delta CEO Ed Bastian expressed the airline鈥檚 commitment to supporting everyone affected by the incident.
鈥淥ur most pressing priority remains taking care of all customers and Endeavor crew members who were involved,鈥 said Delta CEO Ed Bastian in a news release. 鈥淲e鈥檒l do everything we can to support them and their families in the days ahead, and I know the hearts, thoughts and prayers of the entire Delta community are with them.鈥
Flights with Delta and Delta Connection have since resumed at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
