The crash closed Highway 410 in both directions.
A helicopter airlifted two victims to a Seattle-area hospital. Authorities say those two people are being treated for life-threatening injuries.
Firefighters and paramedics treated another person for moderate injuries.
Several police and fire agencies are involved in the rescue, including the Enumclaw Fire Department, Buckley Fire, Puget Sound Fire, the Valley Regional Fire Authority, King County Medic One and the Washington State Patrol.
Authorities asked drivers to avoid the area while the state patrol investigates the accident.
