Thousands lost power Friday night due to a wind storm that caused outages across western Washington.

Over 24,000 Puget Sound Energy customers are still without power as of 9:51 p.m. Saturday. Seattle City Light reports less than 200 customers impacted as crews work around the clock to restore power.

With heavy overnight rain, the National Weather Service issued a flood warning through 5:00 p.m. Saturday evening for most of the region.

The first storm of the season had an impact on Friday night’s at Husky Stadium, after a bank of lights on the north end of the stadium went out late in the fourth quarter.

As far as the weekend forecast, expect highs in the 40s.

鈥淪now levels will crash down to below 1,500 feet by Sunday, and while precipitation will begin to taper in the lowlands, it will continue to snow heavily in spots in the mountains where a Puget Sound Convergence Zone focuses snowfall,鈥 成人X站 7 reports.
