Washington Democrats are preparing a bill that would establish homelessness as a protected class, legalize homeless encampments and RVs statewide and strip cities of the authority to enforce restrictions on homelessness, including bans on encampments, according to a draft of the legislation obtained by 鈥淭he Jason Rantz Show鈥� on KTTH. If enacted, the bill would elevate being homeless to the status of a civil right in Washington.
