Suspect dead after allegedly killing man at Tukwila USPS facilityÂ

A suspect shot himself after allegedly killing a man at a United States Postal Service (USPS) facility in Tukwila Tuesday, the Tukwila Police Department .
The suspect allegedly shot a man at the facility and then fled. TPD said detectives and SWAT found the suspect in a vehicle Tuesday evening in Seattle.
“As officers and detectives moved in to detain the suspect, the suspect sustained a life-threatening, self-inflicted gunshot wound,” the department wrote.
The suspect was then sent to the hospital in critical condition, where police said he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
TPD added that both parties were identified as USPS employees and knew each other before the shooting.
“The shooting is believed to be an isolated incident between the suspect and victim,” the department wrote.

Around 4 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the shooting in the 10700 block of 27th Avenue South, TPD stated in .
TPD said officers found a man with a gunshot wound at the scene and immediately began giving aid until fire and medical personnel arrived. However, the man died from his injuries.
“The Tukwila PD Major Crimes Unit (MCU) responded to the scene and is actively investigating the incident,” TPD wrote in its post.
