Her remains were found on April 9, five days after she was first reported missing. The Thurston County Coroner鈥檚 Office confirmed the remains belonged to Norman the following day.
Zizz, who was announced as a person of interest in the case due to detectives believing he was the last person to see her alive, was extradited from Montana and booked into Thurston County Jail on a no-bail hold for a separate offense. Detectives are currently gathering more evidence for Zizz’s involvement in the death and disappearance of Norman.

Norman鈥檚 family first reported her missing on April 4, telling authorities Marcia hadn鈥檛 been seen since April 1. Deputies with the Thurston County Sheriff鈥檚 Office searched her home, finding incomplete household chores, prompting them to believe she may have left abruptly. Both of her vehicles were in the driveway of her home, located on Military Road near the City of Tenino.
