The Everett Police Department (EPD) is actively searching for a man who allegedly assaulted two employees at separate bikini barista coffee stands.
The two bikini barista stands that were attacked are located on the same street in Everett— along Evergreen Way. The first incident happened April 6 at approximately 1 p.m. when the suspect approached the coffee stand and attempted to assault an employee.
“The employee managed to ultimately ward off her attacker, and he fled the location,” EPD stated. “Responding officers attempted to locate the male, but were unsuccessful in their efforts.”
Employees at the barista stand described the suspect as a thin, light-skinned man who was either black or Latino with a dark moustache or a small goatee. He is approximately 6 feet, 3 inches tall and is anywhere between 20 and 30 years old.
Second similar bikini barista attack
Three days later, a second attempted attack at a bikini barista stand occurred. According to EPD, the suspect entered the stand and tried to attack an employee in a situation that was very similar to the previous attempted attack. The employees reported his description, which matched the previous description EPD received.
“The description provided from both incident were the same, which allows us to believe that they’re likely associated,” Everett Police Department’s Public Information Officer Natalie Given told ³ÉÈËXÕ¾ Newsradio.
Detectives are conducting further investigation into the two incidents.
“All of our evidence this far leads us to believe that this was assault that was attempted, and it was sexual in nature, so we’re investigating it as such,” Given added.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Everett Police Department tip line at (425) 257-8450 or the Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS.
