A King County woman, arrested after authorities uncovered a drug lab and a stash of firearms, was sentenced Thursday to seven years in prison, according to from U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Washington Teal Luthy Miller.
Chandler Bennett, 30, and her partner, Braiden Wilson, were arrested after a 2024 shooting in King County. During the sentencing, U.S. District Judge Lauren King stated, 鈥淵ou were taking deliveries of fentanyl at your mobile home 鈥 These crimes were egregious. You distributed a large amount of dangerous drugs.鈥
Records filed in the case revealed that Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) had been monitoring Bennett and Wilson for drug trafficking activities on the dark web when King County Sheriff鈥檚 deputies responded to a shooting incident near Olallie State Park.
When authorities arrived at the RV, they noticed surveillance cameras and requested access to the footage. Bennett then refused to allow them inside, prompting a warrant from a King County judge.
