A Kitsap County man is in custody and is considered the lone suspect in the death of his estranged wife.
Deputies received a 911 call just after 1:30 Thursday morning. When they arrived at the home, in the 21000 block of Virginia Avenue Northeast in Kingston, they found the woman鈥檚 body.

Investigators said they have no history of violence with the couple, but there was an order of protection.
“There was an order of protection to keep the husband away,” Kitsap County Sheriff鈥檚 spokesperson Kevin McCarty said. “The respondent in that was the father who is the suspect in this case. It involved the entire family. Our detectives are trying to determine what happened and why he went back to the home and why this woman was murdered.”
The couple’s three children, who are minors, were in the home when deputies arrived.
“The kids were not harmed, but exactly what happened with them is part of the investigation,” McCarty said.
Anyone with information should call the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office.
