One arrested in shooting death of two people outside Rainier Beach hookah lounge

Seattle police confirmed that homicide detectives arrested a 25-year-old man involved in the Rainier Beach double homicide this morning. Police reportedly booked him into the King County Jail for two counts of Murder in the Second Degree.
Two people were killed after being shot outside a nightclub in South Seattle early Sunday morning.
The Seattle Police Department (SPD) is investigating the double homicide, which happened around 3:30 a.m. in the Rainier Beach neighborhood.
“A 25-year-old man was taken into custody Sunday afternoon. He鈥檚 been booked into jail for two counts of investigation of Murder,” SPD Detective Eric Munoz told 成人X站 Newsradio.
According to the first appearance document prepared by SPD on Monday afternoon, the suspect was caught after being dropped off at Valley Medical Center with a gunshot wound.
Officers on the scene first found a security guard with multiple gunshot wounds, according to SPD. He was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition, but later died at the hospital.
SPD said a second man was found with a gunshot wound to the head, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the suspect(s) left the scene before officers arrived.
“Two of our community members have lost their lives,” Munoz added. “That鈥檚 a very sad and tragic circumstance that occurred over this weekend.”
