Man shot in Seattle following altercation, shooter is at large

Police are investigating an early morning shooting that left a 44-year-old man seriously injured in Seattle鈥檚 Cherry Hill neighborhood.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 3:50 a.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of East Madison Street, where they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. Police provided medical aid until Seattle Fire Department medics arrived. The man was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious but stable condition.
The suspect fled the scene and remains at large. Witnesses told police the shooting followed an altercation between the victim and a group of individuals.
Detectives with the Robbery Unit are leading the investigation.
