2 Seattle shootouts occur just 8 hours apart; Victims rushed to hospital

Two shootouts happened in Seattle just eight hours apart and both left victims in their wake.
West Seattle shooting involving teenagers
A shootout occurred Thursday afternoon around 3 p.m. in West Seattle鈥檚 Roxhill Park.聽
Seattle Police Department (SPD) Detective Eric Mu帽oz told 成人X站 Newsradio a young man called in and said his friend had been shot.
Police arrived at the scene and found a light blue Prius with two people inside — one was a 17-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. The other person, an 18-year-old man, was not injured but was waiting at the scene and was detained for questioning, Mu帽oz reported.
Lauren Braun, a neighbor, told 成人X站 7 that she witnessed one teenager sitting beside another teen who had just been shot.
“The other boy was just off to the side, just sitting there and just watching his friend … I don’t know if they were friends … but watching the other guy just laying there on the ground,” Braun said. “You could see he’s scared.”
The 17-year-old was taken to Harborview Medical Center. SPD said it is still searching for two additional suspects.

Downtown Seattle Shooting
Two people were shot overnight Thursday in downtown Seattle. According to the SPD, the incident occurred just after 11 p.m. after a fight between two groups broke out in a parking lot near a nightclub in the 100 block of South Washington Street.
Officers said one victim, a man, was shot in the leg, while another, a woman, was shot three separate times.
“Police located an adult male victim,” Mu帽oz told 成人X站 Newsradio. “He was suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. A second victim, an adult female, she was a walk-in at Harborview Medical Center and she had three gunshot wounds to her extremities.”
Both victims were rushed to the hospital. The man is in stable condition, as of this reporting.
Investigators said they recovered a stolen handgun at the scene and found bullet casings from different caliber weapons at the scene. Police said a car linked to the shooting was found at a residence in Renton. No arrests have been made as of this reporting.
“We work 24/7,” Mu帽oz said. “We do everything we can to keep this city safe. The only thing we can do is put our first responders forward, investigate these and take care of our victims as much as we can.”
