Columbia University grad student Mahmoud Khalil, an anti-Israel activist who helped organize the antisemitic activism on campus, released an op-ed for the student newspaper. He complained of his “abduction” and pretended that Columbia University was somehow to blame.
鈥淪ince my abduction on March 8, the intimidation and kidnapping of international students who stand for Palestine has only accelerated,鈥 Khalil wrote in the . No mention of the Israelis who actually 飞别谤别听abducted (the ones who weren’t raped and murdered at their homes).
The 30-year-old green card holder was the “lead negotiator” for the antisemitic encampment dwellers at Columbia University and a participant in the on-campus activism. Khalil caught the attention of the Trump administration, which has said the activism he helped lead harassed Jewish students and distributed pro-Hamas propaganda. They further say he left important items off his green card application, including an internship with UNRWA, which has been credibly accused of assisting and employing Hamas terrorists.
Mahmoud Khalil reminds us why he’s up for deportation
Khalil did more than condemn the university and the Trump administration. He reminded us of his antisemitic views that frame his activism.
He referred to Israel as waging a “genocidal campaign in Gaza” and “sacrificed” Palestinians for “Zionist settler colonialism.” He refers to Israel as “Palestine,” which is what antisemites do to erase the only Jewish state. He takes issue with his Jewish classmates at Columbia because, he argued, “some pro-Israel students were participating in the genocide as military personnel during their school breaks, only to return to campus and claim victimhood in the classroom.”
The essay was the reminder we needed that Khalil is an antisemite. We have enough American citizens who hate Jews and Israel. We need not import them from other countries and offer them the privileges of being an American citizen. There is no right to be a green card holder, nor a right to stay in our country. It is his own words, Hamas propaganda in itself, that disqualifies him from having any life here.
